Friday Night - a great night for all Memphians!

Memphis' undiscovered talent - AKA the Grizzlies- beat the San Antonio Spurs in game 6 of the play-offs at the Fedex Forum on Friday night.  We would have loved to go to the game, but the game sold out in 5 minutes!  Next best thing... enjoying Jumbo Margaritas at Happy Mexican with Sarah and Joe while watching the game!

To be honest, I couldn't have named 3 players on the Grizz team until the last couple of weeks.  Now I'm trying to keep up more with them, at least through this playoff season.  Next up for the Grizz, to attempt to knock out the Oklahoma City Thunder on the race to the top.  First game: May 1st 12:00 CST at OKC.

For those that did not partake in the Grizz game, there was also a Redbirds game, South Main Trolley Night (one of my fave Memphis events each month), and Memphis in May music fest.  We will be checking out the M in M scene later this weekend.

1st Post! - this is a test-drive:)

So, after seeing so many friends being able to design and manage a blog, I decided to give it a try!  Happy Easter!  Tyler and I had the wonderful experience of sharing Easter weekend with both of our families.  My mom was able to go to church for the 1st time since Feb 13th due to her pancreatitis.  Great weekend, although I have some funky sinus infection/ cough/ unwanted gunk.
